i am going to the 2026 National Playwrights Conference at the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center with my play rachel, nevada! i was there in 2023 for bogfriends and it’s truly a magical place! my readings will be on june 23rd and june 27th at 7pm! see you in Connecticut, perhaps?

i was chosen as one of The Playwrights Realm writing fellows for the 2025/2026 season. i worked on revising my play monkeyheart and had a brilliant reading directed by Laura Dupper starring Sarina Freda, Marquis Rodriguez, Arjun Biju, and Amelia Workman.

Clubbed Thumb’s Winterworks 2026 happened and my play Maestra kicked off the three play line-up each night! Liz Peterson & i created something really special together and we are so grateful to have gotten to realize it alongside our incredible group of actors—Arjun Biju, Octavia Chavez-Richmond, Annie Fang, Gibson Frazier, Florencia Lozano and Susannah Perkins.

bogfriends (starring Tony Award-Nominee Taylor Trensch in the “younger” track and Jon Norman Schneider in the “older” track) had a reading at Irish Repertory Theatre on November 10th at 7pm.

a short play i was asked to write (about a straight couple named monica & paule!) was set to dance as a part of Michelle Thompson’s Dinner Party Project at Theatre 3AM in Long Island City this past September. thank you to Society Theatre Co. for bringing me onboard for this project—it was a really cool mix between dance & theatre & it was very cool.

rachel, nevada (starring Diego Josef, Paige Simunovich, Jamison Jones, and Anna Khaja) was a featured reading in the 2025 Pacific Playwrights Festival at South Coast Repertory. Laura Dupper directed and Charles Haugland served as dramaturg.

a reading of bogfriends (starring Gideon Glick and Nicholas L. Ashe) was a part of the 2025 Colorado New Play Summit at Denver Center March 1st and March 2nd. Mike Donahue directed and Leean Kim Torske served as dramaturg.

my Page 73 fellowship culminated in a “jose sebastian alberdi festival” where we did two readings of rachel, nevada (starring Tyler Alvarez, Sarina Freda, Bruce McKenzie, and Amelia Workman) and two readings of bogfriends (starring Michael Benz and Jon Norman Schneider) back to back. rachel was directed by Danya Taymor and bogfriends was directed by Josh Brody.

i was the Page 73 2024 Playwriting Fellow and i was so grateful and lucky to spend even more time with Page 73 in their Writers Group with a truly amazing group of writers.

i was at MacDowell for two weeks as a fellow in November 2024.
